Applications: The propargyl alcohol polyether series products are nonionic surfactants characterized by low foaming and a strong ability to reduce dynamic surface tension. They serve as substrate wetting agents for aqueous systems such as water-based coatings and inks, as well as substrate wetting agents for aqueous systems in general. They are also used as brightening agents and leveling agents in electroplating nickel processes, and as metal corrosion inhibitors in oilfields.
